Recent spy shots reveal a new Cabriolet version of the Range Rover Evoque may soon be entering the market and possibly landing on these shores.
Apparently, the idea for a convertible Evoque has been in the works since at least 2012, when a concept car was shown at the Geneva Motor show.
Now a reader of Autocar in the UK has sent in this spy shot showing what they believe to be a camouflaged prototype Cabrio version of Land Rover’s middle-weight crossover, out for a stroll around the Midlands.
Autocar predicts that the model will be based on the two-door variant, will sport Jaguar-Land Rover’s new Ingenium four-cylinder engine, and may be in showrooms within a year’s time.
