Atlantic British carries a number of items that qualify for a “core
charge” refund.
What is a core charge refund?
It means the part you are buying includes a component or set of components that can be rebuilt for which we offer a refund. When you buy this item, a core charge is included in the item price. The core charge is a deposit and refundable to you when you return your old core to us.
Before shipping back your core, please be sure your item qualifies! The item webpage should state clearly if it has a core charge refund. If your core is damaged in any way, please contact us before shipping. Your old core must meet certain quality criteria for a full core refund. Contact us for more information or if you have specific questions about quality criteria. We reserve the right to waive core refunds partially or fully on damaged or unusable cores that do not meet quality standards.
Core Refund Steps:
1. Get A Return Authorization Number: If the item qualifies, you must call Atlantic British for a Return Authorization Number at 800-533-2210 (International: 518-664-6169).
2. Prep Return Package: Carefully and securely package your old core with a copy of your invoice along with a written, brief description of your core refund request. This request must be packed in the box.
Engine Core Returns: Customers returning engine cores must use the provided Atlantic British rotomold container/crate that you received with your rebuilt engine to return your engine core. For an engine core refund, you must return your old engine core in engine crate provided with your new engine purchase (complete with a set of heads idf applicable). Engine core refunds are subject to review and may be waived in part or fully if engine returned is not the same size and style engine that was purchased or if core is damaged and/or not able to be remanufactured. Please Write Your Return Authorization Number legibly and clearly on the outside of the box (RAN # XXXXX). This number lets our receiving team know who to send the refund to!

Packages must be shipped pre-paid, including all duties, customs, and special handling charges (where applicable.) C.O.D.'s will not be accepted.
