When Land Rover first introduced the Range Rover almost 50 years ago, the concept of a luxury 4x4 was entirely revolutionary. Now, the new Range Rover SV Coupé seeks to define an altogether new class of vehicle: the "full-size luxury SUV coupé." To do that Land Rover started by going back to the Range Rover's roots as a two-door vehicle.
The limited-edition two-door Range Rover SV Coupé, created by Land Rover Design and Special Vehicle Operations, features a distinctly Range Roveresque design, with sleek body lines that push new boundaries, while still staying within the recognizable shape of the current range Rover family. All of that, of course, surrounds an interior that Land Rover is marketing as a "next-generation" luxury. Under the sheet metal, the SV Coupe's drivetrain and suspension work in conjunction with Land Rover's Terrain Response system to provide the unmatched all-terrain ability expected from a Range Rover.
SVO will hand-build no more than 999 SV Coupes worldwide.

SV Coupé is designed with a stance that betrays its on-road bias while bearing all the familiar hallmarks of the Range Rover DNA- the signature floating roof, continuous waist, and tapering tail.
Each SV Coupé will be hand-assembled to the client’s personal specification at the SVO Technical Centre in the UK. Clients can choose from a wide range of interior finishes and color combinations.
Special Vehicle Operations’ offers access to 100 more paint colors, plus unique ‘match to sample’ hues, with a range of finishes; duo-tone front and rear leather colors with a bespoke quilt pattern; contrast stitching; headrest embroidery; doorhandle and treadplate engraving and semi-precious metal badging.
It is also the fastest full-size Range Rover ever, with a 165mph top speed. Power comes from a 557HP 5.0-litre Supercharged V8 petrol engine; the Coupe can hit 60mph in just 5 seconds.
Range Rover SV Coupé sales are anticipated to start from the fourth quarter of 2018, with a starting price of £240,000 or approximately $333,000.
