There are many adjectives that can be used to describe the Land Rover Defender, though “luxurious” is rarely one of them. The Defender is a work vehicle that customers covet for its unadulterated focus on utility. Carisma Auto Design has taken the idea of the Defender and turned it on its head by installing an interior suitable for a Maybach.
The premium Land Rover Defender interior features diamond-stitched white leather seating, a rear center console that appears to house a cooler (for champagne) and stadium seating. Carisma claims that these custom luxury Defenders will be made available to the public; customers can choose from a wide range of leathers, carpets and wood. As an added benefit, Carisma’s Defenders feature tablet computers on the rear of the front driver and passenger seats.
Despite the elaborate upgrades to the Defender interior, the vehicle’s exterior remains completely stock.
