This trailer wiring kit and tow package are designed specifically as a complete, cost-effective bolt-on towing solution for 2005-2009 LR3 vehicles.
The Atlantic British exclusive LR3 bolt-on hitch features a Class III rating (5,000 lbs. Tow Weight & 500 lbs. Tongue Weight).

It features an exterior cap to protect your trailer plug from the elements and easy plug-and-go installation means it can be installed in minutes. Stop and turn functions rated for up to 5 amps. Taillight function rated for up to 6 amps.

All in all, an excellent kit. A couple of suggestions to improve it: (1) include the fir tree clips in the package rather than affixed to the wiring harness - mine were in the wrong locations; and (2) add a little length to each section of the harness (1 - 2 inches max) to allow for an easier/more flexible installation. In the end I used some self adhesive cable anchors and heavier duty zip ties to secure the cable inside the bumper (if you do this be sure to clean the surface with isopropyl alchohol first).

The fit and finish of this kit was top notch. It came with great instructions and was easy to install. My one complaint is that there is a welded cap on one end of the receiver tube, which limits the length of the shank of whatever ball mount you intend to use. I purchased a 2” / 2 5/16” double ball mount from Curt and it will not slide far enough into the receiver to line up the pin. My single 2” ball mount from Curt works fine.
