If you plan on using your vehicle for towing, you will need a Land Rover trailer hitch receiver! This high-quality, genuine receiver (Part # LR040248G) was built to vehicle spec, and fits the majority of late-model Land Rovers, Range Rovers and Range Rover Sports.
The genuine class III 2" trailer hitch receiver is rated for 7,716 lbs. trailer load capacity and 550 lbs. tongue weight capacity. It easily detaches from your Rover and is lockable for security.
Pair this Land Rover trailer hitch receiver with one of our trailer wiring kits for a complete towing solution!
Note: Key will not release from lock until the receiver is installed.

This is a heavy-duty, solidly engineered product and better priced than directly from the dealer. Extremely simple to install - you just insert it into the vehicle's receiving slot and it snaps into place. The security key cannot be removed when the unit is uninstalled from the vehicle, which is annoying if you have the key on a key chain along with your other keys... Aside from this minor annoyance, this is a great product.
