Performance Magnecor ignition wires feature superior construction, including silicone jackets and thick insulating boots for increased life during high-temperature operation. Wires are exact lengths, avoiding the ‘snake-bundle’ look under the bonnet.
Magnecor 7mm Performance Electrosports 70 Ignition Wires improve ignition performance – period.
They provide enhanced performance as direct replacements for original equipment wires. Designed to improve original ignition system performance on stock vehicles using either electronic engine management systems or carburetors. This wire set provides exceptional RFI and EMI suppression to permanently eliminate typical performance and fuel-wasting spark energy deterioration of OE and aftermarket carbon conductor wires. They also eliminate performance problems associated with poorly suppressed aftermarket spiral conductor wires on both modern and older engines. The conventional style insulating jacket consists of high dielectric strength silicone rubber insulation, fiberglass reinforcing braiding and a high temperature, high tear strength silicone rubber outer jacket. The flexibility and ruggedness of the cable allows it to be fitted into original 7mm cable holders. Ideal for use on heat-generating LPG (propane) gas conversion engines.

Had a few misfire codes prior to installing these, they work great! Was able to replace them by just taking out the SAI tubing.

The wires were the correct length and fit well. Be aware that the Magnecor boots on both ends are slightly bigger than the stock boots. This makes it a little more challenging to get the wires on the coils. Overall the wires look to be good quality, fit properly and have worked fine for a couple weeks so far.

With over 100k on Rover I finally committed to changing spark plug wires. The DIY video warns that this a major job involving removal of upper intake manifold. If you do it by the book be sure to purchase new upper intake gasket. Encouraged by an online video I decided to try to replace wires w/o removing manifold and after considerable effort and frustration I was successful. Your hands get chewed up but you can do it. Just take your time and don't give up. Use diagram to determine correct placement. Major difference in engines performance. Worth the money and effort.
