RAVENOL T-IV Transmission Fluid is a universal Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) for the latest generation of automatic transmissions, and specially formulated using a blend of hydro-cracked and PAO synthetic base oils, together with special additives and inhibitors, to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the transmission.
RAVENOL T-IV Transmission Fluid is a perfect, quality fluid for Land Rover LR2 automatic transmissions and exceeds the original equipment fluid ASW 3309 specs. It was originally developed for use in the latest Toyota and Aisin Warner transmissions found in many modern European and Japanese vehicles. It is also suitable for many other manufacturers, as listed below. Its versatile formulation means it can also be used to replace older T, T-II and T-III fluids where required.
It is advisable to flush with RAVENOL T-IV Transmission Fluid before filling completely.

I have a 2013 LR2 with the AF21 transmission and just did a complete flush n fill with 14 qts of Castrol ATF to flush n 8 qts of Ravenol to do the final fill n top off. At 110,000 miles it was having hard downshifts in the low gears and slipping under hard acceleration. After changing the fluid and a week or so its running nice n smoothly and like a new Rover! The flush n fill is a bit tricky on the LR2 but if you use Topix and a few Youtube videos its a piece of cake! Thanks to Ravenol for making a high quality Rover Grade ATF!
