Video: Alternator Replacement On Range Rover Sport Supercharged Or LR3

Alternator failure has come up on a regular basis on the Sports and LR3s now that they are up on mileage. The diode in the alternator fails and some of the most common symptoms you'll notice is an intermittent lighting of the battery warning light on the dashboard and a sudden increase in the noise from the cooling fan.

Watch Doug, our Land Rover Master Technician, as he removes and replaces the alternator for a Range Rover Sport Supercharged 2006 - 2009.

This replacement is also similar on the LR3 and the Range Rover Full Size with the Jag engine.
