Over a period of time, the rubber hoses on your Land Rover Discovery Series II will not only dry up externally, but also internally.
The flow of coolant can actually wear them out and take material away.
Therefore, we recommend replacing the coolant hoses every 90,000 miles.
Watch Doug, our Land Rover Master Technician, as he demonstrates an overview of the replacement of the custom-fit hoses and thermostat for a 1999-2004 Discovery Series 2.
Using coolant hose and thermostat kit # 9370D2SKA, which includes all the hoses needed plus a new thermostat, it is recommended that this service be performed every 90,000 miles.

Everything I needed. I appreciated the video instructions also. (Both the hose replacement video and the fan belt replacement video were useful.) The only hassle was the "squeeze type" cable clamps which caused me no end of frustration since they are difficult to work with in confined spaces. Would have been nice to include screw type clamp replacements.

I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking to update the cooling system on a series II Disco. It includes all of the coolant hoses located under the hood, most of which are genuine Rover hoses and the price is fantastic.

Great hose set. My hoses were wore out so I got this kit. Just follow Atlantic britishes YouTube video and it will go together. To help getting the hoses on I would use WD40 silicon spray. Also get the 36MM fan wrench. I would also see if you could replace the 200 degree thermostat with a 180 degree. And get real hose clamps from Home Depot. The girl who owned my second disco had shop receipts where this work was done and the bill was $1300.
