Tip. If your actuator starts to fail, better to remove all the trim and trim panels and order the part. It is a lot easier to access the failed actuator and force open if the trim is already removed.

It only took me 1.5 years to tackle this project but once my wife started using it as an excuse to buy a new car I knew something had to be done. Thanks to the video I knew what to expect, and the new part solved the problem. Thank you!

It was a very difficult from the inside of the vehicle to get the cover off and trip the door so it would open. The product worked great.

The tailgate on my 2016 LR4 kept getting stuck, so after some searching around on the internet it sounded like it was the actuator. I figured it was worth a try before having to take it to a mechanic. The install was very easy once I got the tailgate to open back up and this solved my issue and probably saved me hundreds of dollars not having to take it to a mechanic. Thank you!

I want to take this time to thank Atlantic British for all the hard work. My trunk latch has stopped working and I came across a video that was made by Atlantic British giving a step by step guide on how to remove and replace the new actuator. I was iffy at first but, everything had worked out perfectly. I was quoted over $600 for the repair and it cost me no more than $250 to do it myself. Thanks a lot of British for all your great work once again.
