This handy 12V / 40A relay is used for a number of purposes and applications.
It controls A/C condenser fans, the ABS valve, horn, fog lamps, heated front screen and various other applications.

I ordered four each of these to replace the four yellow relays in my Disco II. They did not work. I tried all four in different locations. I called British Atlantic to verify I ordered the right part and they confirmed this was the one to replace these. This was a fail for me, British Atlantic had no other part that might work and I had four parts that did not work.

This relay was acquired as a replacement for the original Secondary Air Injection Pump relay. Following installation, the replacement relay triggered fault codes. On inspection, the replacement relay proved to have excessive resistance. Ultimately, I had to purchase a new relay (Genuine Part) from a Land Rover dealer to resolve the SAI faults.
