Product Details

Tailgate struts are a common replacement item on Range Rover Sports.

Like any hydraulic damper, these can fail with age and should be replaced in pairs.

You will see first signs of this on particularly cold days (struts fail first at colder temperatures.)

So if your tailgate won't stay up on a cold morning, it's time for replacements.

The good news is Atlantic British carries replacement struts for your Range Rover and replacement/installation is a fairly easy process.

I had ordered a cheaper part from carparts.com, but when I googled how to install the part, I landed on the AB video showing me I had ordered the wrong part!. So I got an RMA for the wrong part and ordered the correct one from AB. The part was of high quality, was easy to install and works like new. (I never was able to return the other part because I had already recycled the original shipping box.)
