Had no idea that lug nuts corroded underneath those caps until I went to have my winter tires replaced with summer tires. Apparently, the road salts in the Northeast can cause the lugs under the caps to swell - making it very difficult to remove and nearly impossible for them to be retorqued. These went on without issue and should last the life of the vehicle.

I needed to replace the tires on my LR4. Wanted to clean the rims both inside and out. Wanted to get all the old weight adhesive off from the inside as well. Went to remove the front wheels and found the 22mm lug wrench would not fit. Has to use a 23mm to get them off, but the rear lug nuts were 22mm. I have seen where the lug nuts have a habit of rusting under the Stainless Steel caps. So I purchased these to replace all of the lug nuts on the car. They worked great and look better than the old ones.
