When we first placed the mat in the cargo area it seemed to fit fine, but the door would not automatically close. After a few tries we were able to successfully close it manually, but once we opened it up a day or so later, we found that the ends of the mat at the latch area were bent upwards from the door pressing down on them. After curling them under the seam for a few days they were mostly straightened out and we were able to close the door and have them lay flat. It now works fine without having to manually close the door.

A very sturdy well built Mat, it should protect very well. An almost perfect fit, it is a little long in the back which requires careful placement so as to not interfere with the hatch. Although to be fair I think it is longer in order to protect the carpet. I can't imagine using our RR Sport to haul things without this mat protecting the cargo area. There may be other options but we like the factory look and it matches the other mats.
