Product Details

This hand Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) upgrade adapts the Rover plenum to accept the Colvern throttle pot.

Replaces the 2-bolt throttle pot as fitted to all 3.9L and later 3.5L engines from late flapper to last of the Hotwire 14CUX. It replaces original equipment parts ETC8495 and ERR2263.

Consists of:

  • Colvern throttle pot
  • Alloy adapter plate
  • Brass spindle
  • Ball-bearing
  • Stainless cover plate
  • Hardware and loom socket

Once this kit is fitted, throttle pot switch replacements are cheaper and easy to source.

This is the second TPS that I have replaced in the past year. I've also replaced the Oxygen Sensor twice. Motor and idle is clean. I'm starting to think that I have a faulty ECM. I rotate between Code 48 and Code 27. Vacuum tubes all new.
