Replacing the head gaskets is just something that all LR owners will do at some point. I got 170K miles before I did mine. After a substantial amount of research, I determined that the Elring gasket was the best choice. The fit is perfect. I did use copper gasket sealer between the block and teh gasket since I did not pull the motor. The heads were machined so no worries about the mating surface. Using the right parts from AB made the job much easier.
