You will get condensation buildup in the differentials in a transfer case and you definitely don't want water and either one of those.
Watch Doug, our Land Rover Master Technician, perform the Differential and Transfer Case Service (using our complete Kit # DTCM100A) on a 2006-2009 Range Rover Sport Supercharged.
For non-electronic (open) differential vehicles use Kit # DTCM300A and for electronic differential vehicles use Kit # DTCM300B.
In this video, Doug explains the difference between electronic and open (non-electronic) differentials and will show you the drain and fill points of the front and rear differential, transfer case and axles.
This service is often forgotten and should be performed every 60,000 miles, to prevent more costly repairs.

Good kit and tutorial video made this a relatively simple task. My application was for an open differential, but some of the plugs in this kit were not correct for my application. Make sure and have a look at what you have and discuss with a sales rep before ordering to make sure you have what you need. Another tip - make sure you think about the placement of jackstands if you're not on a lift. It will help to ensure you have sufficient room for your drain pan.

Git this kit and its has everything you need for the diff and transfer box service. No issues other than the oil stinks bad.... dont do this service in you attached garage like I did, wife will hate you....
