This pillar has a matte finish, unlike the gloss of the stock part likely on your D2. If you replace these, I recommend doing them both at once. Do not use the original rivets, as they are a one shot deal. If you mess up the alignment, you need a new rivet as the pin pushes inside the pillar and you can't recover it. You can get better nylon rivets in the same style, but with a retractable pin. One thing to note here is that when fitting the part over the pillar, the BOTTOM spring clip is the most difficult & essential one to line up and get fitted over its tab on the pillar. Make sure that one is properly seated and the seal is flush with the glass before moving on to the others!
