My 2006 Supercharged L322 was still on its original belts at 150k miles, so it was definitely time to do both. Instead of buying separately, AB offers this kit at a $15 savings which is great. Belts were perfect OE fitment, and my engine is running quieter and smoother than it has in a long long time. Not a terrible DIY either if you’re mechanically inclined.

Beyond the many items in the engine bay that must be removed to access the fan belts, there are two critical things to know: 1) the bolt that holds the fan in place is most likely a reverse thread; 2) the bolt was frozen, and very difficult to remove, requiring two special tools: 36mm bolt wrench, and clutch holding tool. Both tools have to be long and narrow to fit and provide torque.
