2008 Range Rover Symptoms. thermostat control erratic, not constant to a set temp. Possible Fan running while your away, draining battery. This resistor will solve those problems. Ask For Eric when ordering, very helpful!

Item failed less than a week. Purchased new unit from dealer and it is good now. I know electrical therefore I am not getting my money back but this was poor substitute for an oem unit. Shipping was quite slow, waited three days when I am only 30 miles from their west coast location.

The final stage resistor (FSR) is responsible for the various speeds of the HVAC blower motor and is often the problem when the it doesn't blow at all or may be stuck at a single speed. It is found on the passenger side of the center console of a 2003 Range Rover HSE and can only be accessed by removing the glove compartment. It would be helpful if a schematic was included with the purchase of any FSR as they are very difficult to find on most, if not all, Land Rovers based upon my research. Denny Phillips
