Atlantic British Attends 2011 SEMA Show

A handful of the Atlantic British team made their way out to Las Vegas for the SEMA Show, giving the group a chance to check out the latest product and news from the leading aftermarket parts manufacturers in the country.

For those who are not familiar, the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) is a membership organization comprised of nearly 7,000 automotive industry professionals. Each year the organization hosts the SEMA Show at the Las Vegas Convention Center drawing upwards of 100,000 visitors. The event provides educational seminars for attendees, highlighting new market research, social media tactics and product demonstrations.

As part of the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association, The SEMA Show features the latest and greatest products the aftermarket auto industry has to offer, from wheels to performance parts to car care accessories. Attendees of the SEMA Show are able to gain hands-on experience with new products and network with like-minded professionals.

SEMA Awards

Land Rover made its presence felt at the SEMA Show by taking home two awards.

The LR2 was named “Best Premium Compact SUV,” a surprising nod considering the general lack of attention it receives from the (North American) Land Rover community, particularly after the introduction of the Evoque. In a less startling announcement, the Range Rover was named “Best Premium Large SUV.”
