Q. Do you stock a hard top for the Land Rover Defender 90?
A. We do not stock the hard top due to the item frequently being
unavailable. Also, this item is oversized, making shipping difficult and expensive.
Q. What is the Dupont paint code used to find the original
color of my Series Land Rover?
A. 38505A – Limestone, 38503A - Marine Blue, 38506A – Poppy Red,
38500A – Bronze Green, 38504A – Pastel Green, 42889A – Artic White, 8177A
– Sandy Beige.
Q. How can I figure out which fuse box label I need for
my Range Rover Classic?

Q. What is my Series Land Rover distributor’s dwell angle?
A. 60 degrees + or – 2 degrees.
Q. How can I get the code for my radio?
A. The code should be in your owner’s manual. However, if you do
not have the owner’s manual you will have to go to your dealer.
Q. Do you sell owner’s manuals?
A. No, they are only available through your dealer.
Q. What size tires should I use on my vehicle?

Q. What is the bolt pattern on my vehicle?
A. The bolt pattern for Range Rover Classic, Discovery I, Land Rover
Defender 90 & 110 is 5 on 6.5".
Q. What gear ratio does the Series 3 have?
A. 4.77:1 - This holds true for all Land Rover Series models.
Q. Where is the temperature sensor in the Discovery II located?
A. There is a sensor located on the right-hand (passenger) side of the transmission cooler, behind the grill. There is another temp sensor located on the back of the transmission (driver's side).
Q. The acceleration in my car is rough and sporadically loses power. What should I do?
A. Try running a compression test to insure all cylinders are running evenly.
Q. What are the levers on the driver's side of my Series III for?
A. On the Series III you will have two heater control levers. One opens the valve to adjust the amount of hot water entering the heater (adjusts the temperature), and the other controls the air flow to the interior, or defroster.
Q. How often should you replace your blades?
A. The National Highway Transportation Board recommends that drivers change their wiper blades, at minimum, once a year. However, the average vehicle owner repaces his/her blades only once every 2.5 years.
Q. How do you determine "left" and "right" when referring to Rover parts?
A. Left and Right are determined based on the driver's perspective while sitting in the driver's seat of the vehicle. Therefore, in the States, the driver side of the vehicle is always LEFT and the passenger side is always RIGHT.

Q. My Discovery II climate control reads in Celsius on the temerpature gauge. How do I change it to Farenheit?
A. Turn the ignition on. With the climate control turned on, push and hold the recirculation button in. While holding the recirculation button, push and hold the "off" button for 3 second, or until you hear a beep. Your display should read "F." Follow these same steps to switch back to Celsius. Q. My Range Rover Classic is giving me an ABS Warning Light.
A. If your ABS Warning Light comes on and stays on, you may have a bad relay. The relays are located under the driver's seat behind the seat surround, under the left seat track. The center relay is usually the one that causes the false signal. The vavle relay is Part Number PRC9603.
Q. The door on my Discovery (I & II) will not open from the outside.
A. If the tail door on your Discovery will not open from the outside, chances are good the handle has seized. Remove the Land Rover emblem that covers the handle. Spray some penetrating oil on the pivots. Push the handle in and out until the handle operates properly. In most cases this three minute operation will be all that's required to open the tail door.
