Land Rover took their first trip to the Miami Art Week, an annual December celebration of everything artistic in Florida. Built around the prestigious Art Basel event, the event is a social and artistic extravaganza, and this year a special Range Rover Sport, the SV EDITION ONE MIAMI, was part of the celebrations.

JLR has teamed with Tata Communications, their partners under the Tata Sons umbrella, to define their corporate-wide IT infrastructure. Land Rover's iconic dealer-against-dealer skills competition, TReK, returned for its fourth modern edition this year, with a qualifying event held in October and the finals over last weekend's Destination Defender event. A total of 109 Land Rover dealers from across the United States and Canada competed in one-day waves, testing their off-road, problem-solving, and team skills. The Texas showdown was the return of a 27-year tradition, dating back to the first TReK in 1996.

Owners of the famous Series I Land Rovers that climb the Himalayan mountain of Sandakphu in India are going to the government of the state of West Bengal to get support to keep their vintage vehicles on the road. After decades of plying the high peaks at the roof of the world, the Land Rovers are tired, and the hope is that becoming an official piece of national heritage will help direct money and tourists their way to keep the vehicles on the road.

Land Rover Classic, the arm of the company that restores vintage vehicles and supplies parts for older models, is hosting a drive event at Eastor Castle in Herefordshire, England on November 9, with some of the most special Land Rovers from the company collection available to drive.
