Built around the prestigious Art Basel event, the event is a social and artistic extravaganza, and this year a special Range Rover Sport, the SV EDITION ONE MIAMI, was part of the celebrations.

If you find yourself on the British coast, you’ll eventually come across a lifeboat station -- a charitable organization providing coastal rescue services. One of the most beloved icons of British culture, the lifeboat stations have also been nostalgically tied to their Defenders and Series vehicles for decades. Used as launch vehicles and search and rescue trucks, they’re a piece of the British seascape. But almost eight years after the last classic Defender rolled off the line, the march of time means other vehicles are taking their place – and on the coast of southwest Scotland, that vehicle is an Ineos Grenadier.

Land Rover announced the winners of the third annual Defender Service Awards, the yearly giveaway of Defenders to worthy non-profit causes who can use the vehicles to advance their good work across the United States and Canada. This year, six Defender 130s found new homes, and for the first time the contest winners were evenly split between American and Canadian winners.

The updates, built into vehicles since 2022 and retrofittable to vehicles from 2018-2022, have made a marked impact on how many Land Rovers are stolen in Britain.

Land Rover's iconic dealer-against-dealer skills competition, TReK, returned for its fourth modern edition this year, with a qualifying event held in October and the finals over last weekend's Destination Defender event. A total of 109 Land Rover dealers from across the United States and Canada competed in one-day waves, testing their off-road, problem-solving, and team skills. The Texas showdown was the return of a 27-year tradition, dating back to the first TReK in 1996.
