What a fine piece of metalwork! Perfect fit. Excellent hardware. Clever installation kit. Very good instructions. Study the instructions carefully. Note that the smaller steel plates go toward the FRONT of the vehicle. Raise the vehicle to OFF-Road height. It's a one-man job if you take your time. Coat the frame with a rust inhibitor before installation otherwise moisture will be trapped between the frame and bar mounts. Use coat hanger wire to pre-hang the bar to line up the mounting holes. A service dolly is a big help.

Replaced an older bolt on permanent tow hitch from Atlantic British that I fitted about 5 years ago (LR019990ABP) and felt it was time to replace due to rusting. Shipped quickly via ground service. Construction of this Curt tow hitch is solid and it is relatively easy to fit (did it on my own, but would be easier with 2 people to help lift it into place while negotiating the bolts that you have to pull through the frame).

The installation was a breeze. The wires were a little interesting pulling through the frame, but total install time about a half an hour. I have a 19" Spare, and this fit just fine, so not sure what constitutes as a full sized spare. Don't waste your money on one of the hitches that bolts to the old tow eyes. Mine started to bend and almost broke off while towing. Just pony up and buy this one, it has an excellent weight rating and is well made. Shipping was fast! Would definitely recommend!
