As we all know, traditional farm jacks are a useful piece of equipment when it comes to off-road recovery. You can use it to move your vehicle out of awkward situations, fill in voids beneath tires, and even act as a bead breaker when you have to make a tire repair on the trail. However, farm jacks also carry an element of danger in their use. We've all heard stories and seen what happens when a user gets injured from a rogue handle or getting their hands caught between the handle and body of the jack.

With this safety problem in mind, ARB's team of engineers brought the full force of their creativity to bare and have brought hydraulic technology into the recovery space. Their focus was to design a safer and easy-to-use mechanical jack that is lighter and more compact than traditional jacks

ARB's Hydraulic Recovery Jack has revolutionized off-road recovery. Using hydraulic technology, the jack kicks into action when even the lightest force is applied to the handle. The hydraulics will smoothly jack the vehicle up in 1/2 inch increments with each downward pull. While in use, a black rubber body bumper shields the vehicle from the risk of damage during the recovery. An easy-to-access red lowering lever ensures lowering the vehicle is achieved quickly and safely thanks to the two-stage descent feature and safety stop. With the press of a lever, the user is able to adjust the lower speed between a slow or rapid descent.

Designed to combine ergonomic form with safe and reliable functionality, the high position of the handles and the top pivot function provide users with complete control while preventing the need to kneel down to operate. It also features an adjustable foot that can be rotated 360 degrees via the shaft to match the angle of the terrain and reach a firm, stable connection between the base and ground. Additionally, the jack is built trail tough out of high-quality T6 aluminum and the shaft is corrosion resistant military-grade nitride.
