Using rear wiper arm part # DKB500310PMD, which includes new spray hose and finishing cover, it is recommended that the wiper arm be replaced when corrosion develops on the pivot and will no longer hold tension of blade against rear window.

This is a perfect replacement for my 2003 Disco II. I guess shame on me, but I wasn't aware it didn't include the blade as well. So word of warning, be sure you order the blade with it too.

This is the third or fourth rear wiper I have installed on my 2003 Discovery II. Due to the washer hose, installation requires removal of the spare tire, interior door handle, sub-woofer housing, sub-woofer assembly, and door panel. This time I took a short cut. I removed the spare and the broken wiper arm. Then I cut the old washer hose exiting from the door. With a $1.38 tubing coupler from my local hardware store, I connected the old and new hose ends. I secured them with "super glue", covered with high pressure tape (just a fail-safe), and replaced the spare. Cut about an hour off the install time! I recommend that you include a coupler and an install advisory with the wiper arm.
