If its still in the works, the Landie's design will be a mini-sports wagon (think Mini), but big boss Ford may put the kabosh on it due to austerity and all that.
Apparently, all vehicle lines - including everything from Land Rover to Aston Martin and Jaguar - must be profitable in their own right, and not subsidized by huge Ford truck profits. What ever happened to brand image makers? It seems that everything that goes up must come down, like vehicle size. No one is trying to top the Excursion, so we wonder...could this Mini idea be the next big thing...?
