Tickets are on sale for Destination Defender, a weekend-long celebration of Defender vehicles both current and historic. Over two days, November 12th and 13th, the Oz Farm in Saugerties, New York will become the hub of the Defender lifestyle in North America -- and Land Rover Defender and Series owners can attend for free!
There are three types of admission tickets. Weekend and Day passes are free for Defender and Series owners and $75/50 for general attendees, while $500 VIP passes offer special opportunities, including admission to the Defender Service Awards dinner on Saturday night.
With a weekend-long event, everyone needs somewhere to stay, and there are three options for weekend guests: a camping spot, for vehicle-dependent tent camping ($25 for the weekend, no hookups or pull-behind campers), luxury heated glamping yurts ($1,300 for the weekend), and a variety of hotels, inns, and B&Bs in the idyllic Hudson Valley.
Tickets are available HERE. Land Rover Series and Defender owners can enter the code DEFC4546 for free admission.

The weekend will involve a broad spectrum of programming, including a Defender Lodge with talks and round tables, adventure activities, bonfires, evening entertainment, and food and drink trucks. There will be vintage Land Rovers on display, including a display of Defenders Through the Decades, both from the Land Rover corporate collection and the collection of Jim Macri, a Northeastern Land Rover enthusiast and collector.
For those Land Rover enthusiasts on the East Coast, this is a fantastic opportunity to experience a weekend of Defender fun supported directly by Land Rover. It draws some parallels to pre-lockdown 2020's 4xFAR Festival in California, which was the North American launch event for the Defender, and it's a hopeful look towards the future vibes of the Defender lifestyle in North America after two years of interruption.
