Product Details
One-piece heavy-duty bumper for the Land Rover Discovery II. Manufactured from 5mm steel by European Rover specialists Britpart, this bumper features a winch cut-out and wrap-around sides to protect the wings.
It fits standard bumper mounting points and features 36.5mm diameter cut-out holes for swivel recovery point shackles and (2) integrated hi-lift jacking points.
Notes:
- Grille Modification Required for Winch Installation - Winch installation requires some custom trimming of the front grille.
- Sold Separately - Winch (item # DB9500I), fairlead and swivel recovery shackles (item # TFSRP) shown in photos are sold separately. Get the bumper and winch as a kit (item # DA5645K) for added savings - see related items!

Outfitting a Discovery Series II for Off-Road, Part Two
If you're planning to off-road with your Discovery 2, it is important to give the vehicle clearance. You'll want to install heavy duty steel bumpers for protection.

Add another $3K - 5K and you can outfit your Discovery II for off-road in no time.
Watch Doug, our Land Rover Master Technician, in Part Two of our video how-to series, as he removes, replaces and installs the front (DA5645) and rear (DA5646) bumpers with new heavy-duty steel bumpers to give the vehicle front and rear clearance for off-road use.
Doug will also address the installation of a winch, an essential accessory for off-road use, to the front bumper.

I've had this bumper on my Disco 2 for 5 years. the reason I only gave it 4 stars is that the northern Midwest uses salt and other chemicals for ice on the roads. The black finish has degraded and rust had taken it,s place. I believe the finish coating should be guaranteed for the life of the bumper.
