Product Details
Tailgate struts are a common replacement item on Range Rovers.
Like any hydraulic damper, these can fail with age and should be replaced in pairs.
You will see first signs of this on particularly cold days (struts fail first at colder temperatures.)
So if your tailgate won't stay up on a cold morning, it's time for replacements.
The good news is Atlantic British carries replacement struts for your Rover and replacement/installation is a fairly easy process.

I didn't realize my struts were worn out until the middle of the winter and trying to load the rear of vehicle. The upper tailgate kept trying to bump my head or worse.
