James Bond has always been closely associated with Land Rovers, and there have been some models already confirmed for the new film, 2020’s No Time to Die. The trailer, which dropped last week, hints at a few more Land Rovers that’ll feature in 007’s next adventure.
We already know that the New Defender will feature in the film, though it isn’t featured in the trailer. We also know that Bond will drive a Series III soft top during his retirement to Jamaica, the same place Ian Fleming wrote the original James Bond novels.
Also making an appearance in the trailer were two previously-undeclared Land Rovers, though. A Range Rover Sport SVR flips over a cliff Bond is driving under in an old Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, and a Range Rover Classic is smashed up by his iconic Aston-Martin DB5. Yes, even the good Land Rovers don’t always survive a Bond film.
No Time to Die comes out April 8th in the US, and Land Rover fans are sure to have more than one reason to see it.
