Land Rover has been named Carmaker of the Year for the second time in as many years in the annual Motor Trader Awards.
The award provides solidifies Land Rover’s place at the top of the luxury automobile market and affirms the decisions to invest heavily in the brand through innovative research and development and aggressive marketing campaigns. The judges based their decision on the strength of the Land Rover brand, their strong vehicle offerings the considerable investment the company has made in the future of the brand. Augmenting Land Rover’s case for Carmaker of the Year was the NFDA Dealer Attitude Survey which concluded that Land Rover was the “most valued brand in terms of profitability and overall attractiveness.”
Motor Trade Editor Curtis Hutchinson said, “Land Rover is the brand and franchise that dealers want.
