I recently had a total failure of my air suspension on my LR3. I knew this day would come so I had been doing some research on the topic of converting to coil. It was kind of easy; entering the vortex of keeping the air suspension working property vs spending 1/2 the money and being done with the suspension for life. Without question, the Atlantic British solution was the most thought through. My mechanic did the install in a day and so far it has been perfect. No warning lights, no inoperable functions, works perfect. I will not regret moving to coil.

I was tired of chasing suspension faults, replacing compressors, hunting down leaks, and always worrying if I’ll get stuck somewhere so I finally gave in and bought the AB coil conversion kit. Included instructions were great as was the video, no major issues at all. One piece of advice for the rears is to disconnect the sway bar end link as well as the upper control arm so you can give yourself enough room to bolt it up. The video mentions “wrestling” it in but we found no other way than to unbolt this stuff first. Ride height is great for a daily driver, very level as well. Ride quality feels identical to everyone that has ridden in it. Totally worth the piece of mind!

I was absolutely tired of chasing leaks on my 05 LR3. I researched coil strut conversions, and this product seemed to be the most recommended on a lot of forums. They also provide the flash so you can reset the computer module so you can continue to use the different traction control options, which was important to me. I did the installation myself without any help. Hint: drop the control arm when doing this. It’ll make getting the new struts in way easier. As for the handling…! Wow! Provides a very plush ride! You may notice a little more sway, but the handling is overall very good. Spend the couple extra dollars, and I promise you won’t be disappointed!!!
