It is a very good idea to periodically clean and apply a preservative to your leather seats and interior pieces. There are a number of very good cleaners on the market that are made specifically for leather and will not discolor or harm the leather. Once it is clean, it is good to apply a conditioner to preserve the resiliency that leather has naturally. Neglected leather will eventually become stiff and even dry enough to crack.
