Atlantic British Ltd. Welcomes New Purchasing Manager to Clifton Park Headquarters

March 10th, 2006 (Clifton Park, NY) - Atlantic British Ltd., an automotive parts and accessories supplier for Land Rover and Mini Cooper vehicles, has announced the hiring of Brian Thomas as a new Purchasing Manager at its Clifton Park headquarters. As Purchasing Manager, Thomas will oversee all areas of purchasing from domestic and international vendors as well as be heavily involved in product management and new product development.

“We’re excited to bring Brian on board,” said Stephen Springer, Partner and President of Atlantic British Ltd. “Our business growth strategy is showing results and we’re glad to have Brian in place as we expand our purchasing and product management efforts. We continue to develop our product lines for Land Rover and have recently launched a new business division focused exclusively on MINI Cooper parts and accessories. Along with that, we’ve expanded our Clifton Park distribution center and headquarters to over 40,000 square feet and have added distribution facilities on the west coast in Sparks, Nevada. Brian is a great addition for us. He brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience that will be integral in supporting our ongoing and growing business.”

Thomas has over 14 years experience in the automotive industry, most recently with G.W.C. Distributors in Newburgh, NY, where he managed both the purchasing and customer service departments. Thomas was also a manager with Imported Car Parts in Poughkeepsie, NY.
