Terrafirma coil springs, including these for the Discovery 2, are made from the highest quality steel, formed on accurate computer controlled mandrels and precisely heat treated to ensure consistent manufacturing. All springs are shot peened to relieve stress and scragged to ensure long spring life and prevent sag and are powder coated silver for long lasting good looks. Medium load front coil springs are designed to provide 2" of lift on vehicles with up to 100kg of additional equipment, such as a winch and bumper fitted to the front of your Rover. Recommended for all front medium load applications. More than 2" of lift may be achieved when less than 50kg of additional equipment is fitted. No additional equipment may lead to too much lift causing drive shaft vibration and steering geometry problems.
Terrafirma All Terrain shocks are a favorite in any condition and any environment. The tough twin tube design allows for a large volume of oil for cooler internals and improved protection of working parts. Low pressure nitrogen keeps the oil under pressure which prevents it from foaming and creating cavitation which eventually results in heat build up and shock fade. These shocks are built with the largest possible fully welded mounting pins and rubber bushes for maximum strength and durability. Tough enough to handle the punishment of recreational off-roading yet refined to provide a comfortable, well balanced and controlled ride on road. Finished with a high quality deep silver paint to resist corrosion for long lasting good looks. These are the perfect replacement for existing shocks and yet can also accommodate up to 2" (50mm) of lift using Terrafirma coil springs.

The air suspension on my ‘04 Discovery HSE was on its way out and was downright punishing at times. I decided on this kit to replace it. I also got rest of the Terrafirma Suspension products: Steering Damper, Track/Drag Rod, Panhard Rod, Front Towers etc. it’s like new! Next up is the Terrafirma bumpers/rock slides and some nato wheels and tires.

Thank to a great instructional video; the springs and shocks were removed and replaced without any issues. The ride is confident and new Car Feeling. I have negotiated several hills, curves and medians with great confidence.

Got the kit a few weeks ago and finally installed this weekend. I feel like I have a new Disco II, excellent road performance, handling those back road bumps with ease... Now going to purchase the tow and drag arm kit (per the guy who did my alignment). Oh, and works great with only very minor rubbing when I upsized tires to 265/70r18 (32.6"). Thanks!

This took me about 4 hours overall in the driveway by myself even with it raining off and on. The coil compression tool is a must for the rear and helps in the front. One thing not clear is if replacing the stock shock towers in the front with the Terra Firma towers is the 2 inside bolts are a real pain to tighten.

Looks great and the truck is sitting a bit higher. Follow the video, relatively easy install, easier if you have spring compressors.

D2 rides like new. If you disconnect the front sway bar and disconnect the front drive shaft, the install is super easy.

There's not much to say about 4 coils and 4 shocks but this kit appears to be of very good quality and the truck handled the dirt roads like a champ after getting it installed. Took me and my brother 3 hours for the full install with the help of the tutorial video. One thing to add: you'll likely need to detach the front driveshaft to drop the axle enough to fit the front springs! This wasn't in the video unfortunately.

So far so good, these are way better than the stock suspension (obviously haha). On the road they take bumps and dips well. They are a little stiffer when it comes to smaller bumps, but that's because they are a more heavy spring set. Off-road I really enjoy them too. The extra 2" allowed me to put 32.5" all terrains on and it's made a world of difference. If you are thinking about these, I'm defitinely satisfied. The price is reasonable.

I bought an 01' D2 last year, almost entirely stock. Since the vehicle rode a little bouncy I decided to change out the shocks, & while I was at it, why not the springs & shock towers as well. This kit is a superb, durable upgrade at an affordable price, that will also give your vehicle some more clearance. The shocks & springs look great, match, & paired with new Terra Firma shock towers you'll feel good knowing you've improved the strength in your suspension. Installation is a breeze with the correct tools & know-how. Be sure to have a spring collapser handy! If you've never done a suspension change before, the instructional video related to this kit is well done & easy to follow.

After 16 years [bought new] our Disco 2 was sagging in the front. Four new springs, four new shocks and 2 new front shock towers transformed our truck to better than new. A little higher, square and even, glides over bumps and bad roads with tremendous control. We couldn't be happier.

Installation was quick and easy. On my DII, a spring compressor was needed to install all 4 springs. I would recommend this product.

Much improved ride quality. Packaging provided sufficient protection. Overall quality of the components is very high. Knocked off one star for the over sized plastic dust covers on the shocks. I thought they would be a bit more snug to the barrell of the shock. Not. Time will tell how well they hold up.
