This hydraulic boosted unit is the heart of the ABS system of your brakes. It takes the pressure created by the ABS pump and uses it to stop your car. It can bleed down and make stopping very difficult. It also can leak brake fluid. If you are having trouble stopping, have your mechanic check this very important part. ABS pump kits include ABS relay.
