This is a quality replacement Electronic Air Suspension (EAS) Compressor from Hitachi. It provides OE quality for your Rover at a value price. Hitachi was the original equipment manufacturer for these compressors.
It is a direct replacement for the Original Equipment compressor and utilizes the same fitting brackets as the original.
What's more, this compressor includes a new relay and requires no special Air Suspension ECU reprogramming when installed (unlike the newer genuine models that require systems programming at the dealer or by an independent shop with an Autologic system). Fault codes on the vehicle may still need to be cleared, however.

I bought a used Range Rover Sport and started to get that annoying yellow Suspension Warning light all the time. I read the codes and found that it was the common "drying" error. I ordered this compressor and had my local indy shop install it. Everything went well and the vehicle works better than ever! No more warning light, and I can change my suspension height at will and it raises/lowers faster than ever. Very pleased with this item.

My rover has 130,000 miles and it was time to replace the compressor and two front air springs. I wanted the OEM part for this and spent the extra $$ to get it. My mechanic put it in for me (had no issues) and it cleared all my suspension faults. The compressor seems quieter than the old one when filling. Very pleased so far!

The compressor was shipped with the incorrect wiring connector (male and should have been female) and I would have given it 1 star but the customer service people at British Atlantic were very professional and thorough and identified the problem and work very quickly to resolve the issue

Install was a little tricky but part fit right in. No more suspension alarm seems to be working great.

Best is to remove the entire bracket ( 3 bolts ), then there are 3 torx screws to remove the assembly from the bracket. The rest are plug and play ( 2 electrical plugs and two air tubes). Identical to the factory one, which lasted 10 yr and 140K miles in New England weather !

this compressor mounted right up with 0 trouble, job time was about 1 hour with jus a couple tools, would have been nice if it would have come with replacement airlines but other than that i was very pleased.

No upgrades required. Worked perfect and got rid of the normal height only error message.
