I hoped the ladder would provide a good rear access point to my 60X50 rack when I didn't have a stepladder. Works great! But first buy 3 M8-1.25 20mm bolts (stainless steel preferable) & 3 nylon locknuts. Spray paint the bolt heads, nuts, and big washers black. Loosely attach bottom receiver with bolts pointing UP. DON'T attach top bracket to ladder yet. Slide the top bracket along the top edge of upper tailgate until the center is about 7-3/4" from the right edge of the gate. Place the ladder tab ABOVE bracket tab and insert bolt&washer DOWNWARD. Loosely attach washer&nut. Seat slots on bottom receiver then tighten the 3 bolts incrementally. Dab paint on bolt threads & hardware as needed.

I was trying to figure out how I can build something to get access to my roof rack, since I'm a big DYI guy I figured cant be that hard, but all designs had issues and turned out to be to difficult and time consuming to build. Then I seen this ladder, I was skeptical but once I seen it out of the box the big AHHH came over me. 10 Minutes later it was installed, solid as a rock. Great design , simplicity in itself yet strong. Save yourself some time and get this ladder you wont be disappointed. I absolutely recommend this ladder for and form fit purchase.
