The first thing serious off-roaders add to their stock Rovers are skid plates, because they know that... while a headlamp or windshield can be replaced... damage to the undercarriage is expensive and can leave you stranded. (Range Rover owners must remove the lower air dam behind the spoiler.) If you’re going off-road, do what the pro’s do: install some undercarriage insurance!
