This is a brand new, crate engine that includes camshaft and timing chainset.

Original equipment engines of this type often failed as they aged, due to a cylinder sleeve problem where the steel sleeves would loosen from the aluminum block and slide, allowing coolant to leak into the combustion chambers. The revised design on these new engines has solved this sleeving problem - an major improvement over the stock design!

These crate-packed engines are large and weigh approximately 160 lbs. They ship via freight truck and buyer should have a shipping dock and/or forklift available to receive this delivery (shipping to an automotive shop is recommended.)
