HYLOMAR Universal Blue Gasket Sealer is the leading non-setting gasket and sealing compound in use worldwide.
Hylomar was developed by Rolls Royce to excel under the most stringent tolerances.
Developed with Rolls-Royce and used by many of the world's top automotive manufacturers as well as several world-class Formula 1 racing teams, Hylomar Universal Blue brings preferred properties to automotive applications. Hylomar Universal Blue can endure high temperatures and intense vibration found in the most rugged situations. Unaffected by oil, gasoline, glycol and other engine fluids, it is the perfect sealant for your project. The never-hardening formula keeps your seal tight even when exposed to thermal distortion and heavy vibration.
It is non-hardening and non-setting, vibration resistant, seals surface imperfections and withstands rapid variations in temperature.
Allows metal-to-metal contact and is resistant to combustion products, water, engine coolant, petroleum, lubricating oils, kerosene and fluorocarbon refrigerants.
Used for dressing gaskets, threads and sealing gaps up to .25mm.

I have been a dedicated user of Hylomar Blue since Rolls Royce developed it in the 1960s. I have occasionally been forced to try alternatives but nothing, nothing, is as good as let alone better than Hylomar. I laugh when I see dozens of other tubes of goop on dealers shelves. They could save all that space if they just stocked Hylomar. The original that is, not the Permatex and other 'blue' goops.
