DIGITAL MUSIC EXPANSION KIT FOR MP3 PLAYERS / iPODS

Upgrade your Disco II's sound system to play digital music directly from your personal iPod or MP3 player! Our Digital Music Expansion Kit enables you to integrate and play your personal audio player directly through your Discovery II's stock sound system. The kit includes an interface box, all wiring and mounting hardware needed and a universal dash vent GripMatic™ mount for your audio player. Dash vent mount fits vehicles with horizontal vent slats only (will not work on vertical vent slats.)


Compatibility & Installation Notes for Discovery Series II:

• 6-CD Changer Vehicles: This kit is compatible with vehicle's that featuring the 6-CD changer located below the passenger seat. You must disconnect your vehicles CD changer and use it's interface cable input with this kit.

• Single Dash CD Player Vehicles: This kit is NOT compatible with vehicles that have the Single Dash CD Player System (Visteon Audio Head.

• Standard Radio/Cassette Player Vehicles: This kit IS compatible with Discovery II's that have standard radios with cassette players. However, you will need the 6-CD Changer Audio DataLink Input Cable to enable this kit. Many Discovery II's with standard radios came pre-wired with this cable (to easily allow dealers to install the CD Changer as an option.) However, some vehicles DID NOT come with this CD-Changer Audio DataLink Input Cable pre-wired. To determine if you have this input cable pre-wired, look beneath your passenger seat for this 10-pin connector cable.

If you do not have this Audio DataLink Input Cable pre-wired, you can purchase the cable separately via Atlantic British part # LRN50530G - see link below.

NOTE: This kit IS NOT compatible with other model Land Rover vehicles or vehicles made by other manufacturers.
