The boot for my 1967 had basically rotted away, unlike the e-brake which is leather and the stick shift which came with the kit for a new stick. A little soapy water and this puppy slipped right on and fit like stock. The metal bracket and holes lined right up... no modifying needed. If I had to replace it again, it's an easy decision, buy this one. If you need the others, look around the site, they have them as well as fresh knobs. I kept my old ones because they are worn and look very cool that way.
