Omitec T4 Comprehensive Diagnostic System for Land Rovers

The T4 Comprehensive Diagnostic System for Land Rovers allows the use of proven TestBook diagnostic software while providing increased functionality and reliability. T4 provides compliance with the latest EU3 and OBDII emissions standards and comes complete with the necessary cables and adapters, along with a printer. An optional hand-held tester can also be added to the system.

Based around the latest laptop PC technology, T4 has been designed for ease of use with both TestBook diagnostic software and RAVE Technical information.

A new, high-quality T4 trolley houses both the printer and VOM/VCSI electronics, while a lockable cover protects the laptop itself from damage. Generous CD and cable storage is also provided.

T4 Hardware

Dell Latitude Intel Pentium III laptop with Windows 98 operating system, featuring:

• 64MB SDRAM (min.)
• 6GB hard disk drive (min.)
• Integral 24x CD-ROM drive
• 14.1 XGA TFT LCD colour screen (1024 x 768 resolution)
• Integrated Touch Pad and Track Stick pointing devices
• Integrated Modem and 10/100 Ethernet LAN PCMCIA card
• Serial, parallel and USB ports
• Diagnostic software utilizes new Vehicle Communication Interface and VOM (Volts/Ohm Module) housed in the Docking Station
• Optional hand-held tester available
• Secure, lockable case secures the laptop and interface hardware to the trolley.

A Kensington Lock steel cable is also supplied to deter laptop theft

• Rugged, purpose designed trolley provides a portable workstation housing T4, the Hand-Held Tester, printer and ancillary equipment ideal for ease of mobility in a mobility environment

Diagnostic capabilities

• Diagnostics - EU3 and OBDII compliant. Full automotive diagnostics, configuration and tune update capabilities. T4 uses existing TestBook diagnostics, but provides much increased performance
