If you see a Defender with a snorkel, special fuel tank, metal grilles covering the rear windows, super heavy duty axles and, oh yes, stickers on it reading “Global Overland” and mud on it from Australia, Tibet, China, Pakistan, Iran, central Asia, the Caucasus and the Balkans… chances are it’s stolen and answers to the nickname “Snortie”.
Some people! The Land Rover Defender 110 had managed to travel safely through 26 countries in two years time and winds up being stolen out of the owner’s driveway in Reading, UK last weekend.
