It’s the most compact, the most “sustainable”, the lightest, the smallest, the most fuel efficient Range Rover ever built. And it’s finally here, debuting at the Paris Motor Show.

If you do decide to go ahead and buy a Range Rover Evoque when it comes into showrooms sometime later this year, you’ll need to decide which design theme to go with. PURE goes with neutral colors, brushed aluminum trim and an uncluttered “post modern” look. PRESTIGE goes with the traditional English clubroom look with lots of leather and real woodwork. Oh, and 19” wheels. Or DYNAMIC, which shifts into sport mode with 20” Wheels, unique bumpers, sills, grill and tailpipes and projects a confident “get-out-of-my-way” stance.
Whichever theme you choose, you’ll also get subtle ambient lighting inside, where you can color-adjust the LED lights to match your mood. And, if you really want to feel unleashed, you can opt for the full glass panoramic roof.
While it is lighter and smaller than its stablemates, the Evoque is still worthy of the Rover name with Rover’s unique off-road technologies including Terrain Response, Hill Secent Control, Gradient Release Control and Hill Start Assist. Its turbocharged four-banger combines superior performance with Range Rover’s lowest CO2 emissions to date (less than 130g/km). Adding to its green nature, each vehicle uses 16kg of recycled plastic and 21kg of natural and renewable materials.
And to top it all off, it’s the Angelina Jolie of vehicles; absolutely, undeniably, inescapably and unapologetically beautiful. This is a Range Rover, after all, and it’s going to be awhile before anyone catches up to this one.
