As most of you know by now, the Defender as we know it will cease production in December of this year. Given the impending deadline, demand is very high and the Solihull factory is running a six-month backlog.
Not to fear for our US readers as we can't have them anyway. To be sure, a steady stream of 25 year old models will long be available to satisfy demand on these shores. Though if one is watching the market, it does appear prices are rising.
The Solihull factory where Defenders are currently produced has been building Land Rovers continuously since the inception of the brand in 1948.
