When we discuss commercial-use Land Rover Defenders we are usually referring to trucks used by the Red Cross, the military or various municipal fire departments. However, Land Rover also caters to safari touring companies in various parts of Africa, and has developed the Land Rover Defender 110 Game Viewer specifically for this purpose.
The Land Rover Defender 110 Game Viewer is an open-air vehicle that offers seating for nine in a unique stadium seating configuration that maximizes each rider’s vantage point. The Viewer comes equipped with other useful features designed to make the touring passengers feel comfortable including: a dual-purpose bull bar which can be used as a refreshments table and auxiliary power outlets for electronics (would be a shame to miss a once-in-a-lifetime photograph due to low battery!).
The new Land Rover Defender 110 Game Viewer made its debut at this year’s Tourism Indaba, a four-day tourism trade event held at the Albert Luthuli Convention Centre in Durban, South Africa. Land Rover also revealed plans for a prototype that operates on an electric engine.
